I hope Jones and Conners have been talking to the media about their project. I have seen their project on a number of sites, but not many. Not as much as SpaceVenture and not even close to Pinkerton. Let’s hope some interviews start popping up soon.

I’ve pledged and broke the bank doing it! I’m going to contact major gaming websites early next week to see if they will do a story about it.  I’ve heard Gamespot already has something planned.  Good news!

Those numbers aren’t growing fast enough.
That’s it! I’m switching to bread and water for next 3 weeks, in order to raise my pledge for another 100$ Smile

Bread and water! Good idea! A small price to pay for a new Tex Murphy game.  Money Mouth

Anyone know what is happening with the total pledged number? Earlier today and again a bit ago the pledged dollar amount was over $211,000 and the next time I checked it was only just over $210,000. Now I figured that the one time early today might have been a glitch but it has happened again a bit ago. Any Ideas?

Doubt it’s a glitch, probably just people lowering their pledges and tiers.

Shrug. Happens all the time. Someone has cancelled their pledge.

Is that all it is? Bummer, faster we go the further behind we get…at least today.

No sweat, we’ll reach over 50% in under a week with any luck. Grin

Backed! No hesitations here. Should replay the original series soon.

Fedora is going the way of the Space Venture. Only $3000 today, with only 14 hours more to go. Not good at all. Something has to be done fast. More publicity!

^its pretty typical for saturday/sunday to be low fundraising days, i wouldnt get too worried yet. Tex is in much better shape than SV (with a smaller goal and more time to get there).

The end date doesn’t say much, as a longer running period only means a prolonged dip. The important moments of any Kickstarter campaign are in the beginning- and ending days.

Media exposure is important. I’m already surprised this project is doing better than SpaceVenture, because I think Space Quest is a more familiar brand name than Tex Murphy. Both campaigns need more exposure. Like I said before, I hope there is stuff in the media pipeline already.
