Games appropriate for a 6yo
Dear all,
My daughter (6yo) has been playing the humongous games (Spy Fox is her favorite), but she is now looking for something new. We tried Teddy Floppy Ear, but that hasn’t been designed as excellently as Humongous.
I also installed Lilly looking Through and Lumino City.
Any other ideas for dedicated kidsgames?
Thanks!
Jaap
Max: Right! We’ll travel through this dimensional portal on the top of the bar!
Sam: That’s spilled beer, rockhead.
Max: Oh in that case ...
Machinarium. In my (limited) experience 6-year olds love the little robot. They may need help with one or two puzzles.
See you around, wolf. Nerissa
Mixed up Mother Goose (box says 4 and up)
Pepper’s Adventures in Time (box says 8 and up)
The Day the World Broke (box says 9 and up)
Inherit the Earth

That’s indeed a great game, I hope she will understand enough to play it

HOG? Heart of Gold, Hand of God, or a swine. Hidden Object Game.
Personally, I’d advise against exposing a 6-year old to HOGs.
EDIT: Not just because locating objects on a screen is all there is to it, but also because most of them are creepy. Dolls without eyes etcetera. And she should be able to read difficult or unknown English words. Aren’t you Dutch?

Aha, that makes sense! I’m not a big fan of hidden object games either. So maybe…. later.
And yes, I’m Dutch, but my wife is American, hence my daughter is both fluent in Dutch and English.
