Oh great, Where can I download the patch from? I found this:
http://www.gamepressure.com/download.asp?ID=21959

But I don’t know if it’s the patch you are referring to, and if that website is trustworthy.

I found the first patch on the web archive of the game website.

That’d be nice. I’ve recently tried to get it to run but it either didn’t run at all or only on the wrong display which then also caused trouble or incredibly sluggishly ... so I had to resort to watching it as a Let’s Play Meh

But it seemed pretty neat from what I saw. Good humor; Mona’s great, and there’s even a plot. Of sorts.

Not sure how well received a sequel would be though when the first game is (relatively) old and doesn’t run for many people, or only with some difficulties and the plot was clearly meant to be a direct continuation.

The very first thing they’d have to do is to patch up the first game. I do remember trying it again a while ago, and while I did get it running, it did require some amount of tinkering, which is never ideal if you want to get technically impaired to try the game. This re-release would also work as a way to see if people actually would be interested/remember the game in the first place. The re-release would be imperative because of the cliff hanger ending as well. I can’t see that many new players picking up the sequel if they don’t know/have not played the first game.
