This news reaches our main “hero” Alastar, an alchemist’s apprentice who is also the greediest mother-flipper of them all. In an old manuscript he discovered that there exists a formula for the elixir of life that makes you almost immortal. This is surely his ticket to the unimaginable wealth of the king.
