Our Verdict:
Like most Mondays, Randal’s Monday is too long and tedious; it has its moments but falls way short of being a cheeky entertainer with engaging gameplay.
The Good:
- Some interesting quests
- a few good laughs with lots of geeky references
- generally smart voice acting
- great artistic quality
- Jay is awesomely profane.
The Bad:
- Too much banal conversation
- repetitive tasks with arduous backtracking and time-consuming transitions between locations
- many poorly-clued quests and misleading feedback
- unpleasant characters
- Randal is dull and annoying.
