Was the Telltale Texas Hold'em game just a serve for the test of the graphical engine, or you had an idea to develope more games like this?

Both!
Hold'em started as a test project to get the tools up and running, but we had such a blast making it that I'm sure we'll be doing some more games like it. |

Was it a 'succeed or fail' product for Telltale ? I mean.. if the game hadn't sold as good as it did, would Telltale still exist today? I bet, the mood was tense the day you put the game online..

Absolutley not!
The original idea was a "not for release" internal project, but it turned out so nice, we just couldn't keep it all to ourselves! And now it's available on-line, at retail, go figure? |
