The Moment of Silence's production
Hey Martin!
How long has TMoS been in production? And what has been most time-consuming in the process? In which ways will TMoS stand out from other temporary point & clicks? The game looks very promising, and I look forward to playing it some time very soon |

It tooks us 2.5 years, all in all. The most tedious and time consuming thing was building and integrating all the sceneries. The game has close to 4 GB of data on the DVD. Most of that is of course rendered stuff. (Thanks, Sven and Andreas Moll, for the unbelievable amount of really great work!) Rendering was a nightmare. Huge animations with endless amounts of frames. Terrible. Scripting, although done in a relatively short time span, was a super-nightmare. In which way it will stand out? Well, I hope in being a really good game! I think it has quite a few things to like. But you all will tell me whether I'm right or not. Last edited by Martin Gantefoehr; 11-10-2004 at 03:36 PM. |
