Hi all!

I'ma having this damn problem with syberia: when train is going to leave station, the program ends by itself, without asking for new CD.

I'm looking for someone who can send me a save just after this point... If someone can, contact me in private: I'll send my last save and he'll continue with it...

Sorry, I don't have any saves for Syberia but if you want a save from someone, you have to let us know from what station is the train leaving. See, it stops at several stations.

Btw, there is no CD change in this game.

I don't have this game installed right now, but maybe someone else will be able to help you out with a save.

Out of curiosity, what kind of video card do you have? Does your computer meet the minimum requirements? I have heard of similar problems on older computers, just curious if that could be the case here.

Yes, I've a quite old computer... But till this point i haven't had any problem... and I'm still searching for this damn save...

When I first tried to play this game, I was using an old video card and the game kept crashing. I finally got a new GeForce FX 5200 128MB card, and the game worked perfectly.
Also, make sure there is no other program conflicting with the game.

Got the following info from the Syberia forum:
If your card fulfills the requirements, try lowering the graphic details and try again.
Also, you need extra memory.
Also, The following drives might be incompatible with Syberia 2:
Pan International CyberDrive 240
ASUS CD-S400
Matshita CR-581-B
Philips CDD2000
LG GDR-8161B
Toshiba HL-DT-STDVD-ROM GDR-8081N (Sep 2002 Laptop drive)
LG HL-DT-STDVDRAM GMA-4020B Apr 2003 IDE (internal drive)

A saved game might help but, you might want to check that your computer has the above fixed first since after the save, your computer may crash again.

If the computer is crashing due to the graphics then you probably wouldn't make it out of that hotel that you start out in. If you have no other problems than when the train leaves the station then it might be a corrupt file or something of that sorts. You might try re-installing the game.

I'm not real sure what to tell you I have XP and I had the same problem a little further in the game. I just kept at it untill it finally let me pass. (And believe me it took forever!) I was ticked off big time, but once it did I never had the problem again.( I did take the disk and clean it in Dawn dish soap and shortly after I was able to pass,I dont know if this had anything to do with it or not.) Good luck!!

I actually had the same problem when I played syberia the first time using GEForce 4200. The game just crashed and kicked me out at the first station. After I upgraded my graphics card to GEForce 6800, I tried to play it again. it passed that stage. Not sure if the graphics card has something to do with it. I have some saves after that position so I can send you something. But I need to get home first. How can I send it to you?
