A New Beginning - disappearing cursor

Hello all. I am trying to get the game to run here but the cursor disappeared on me following the opening cut-scenes and now will not return when I boot up the game. Any suggestions? There have also been a few glitches in the sound but I don't know how the two could be related.

the game to have lot bugs like this, i recommend to reinstall it since your bug is in the start of the game... i had similar bug of disappearing inventory many times through the game which made go back to the previous save games to get over it.

lot of techincal problems in the recent point & click games....

OK, it looks like it's working again after I restarted the computer a couple times and stuck with it. The cursor is back!
