GAG - Permanent Power Saving Mode - now no more power supply
I write this on my old backup PC:
I started to play GAG two days ago and ran the game in the 256-color compatability mode. I "minimized" the GAG window to surf a bit, and after a couple of minutes my CPU switched into Power Saving Mode. That´s strange because I disabled the PSM. I suppose it´s still activated in "compatibility mode" though. I couldn´t get out. Not via keyboard nor mouse actions. Even keeping the power button pushed for a couple of seconds didn´t work. So after some time I decided to unplug the Computer from the socket. No sparks, no sounds which would indicate a malfunction. I plugged the power cable back in, and now the CPU doesn´t get any more power. Is the power supply broken ? Or does the computer still "thinK" it´s in power saving mode. Any suggestions ? pls help:frown: |
Can you boot from a Windows CD or other type of bootable CD?
If you can't boot at all, it sounds like a hardware problem and not something to do with a game. |
