Still Life Game Problem [PLEASE HELP!]
Hey guys,
Long time no come to this forum. I have a quick question. I recently got Still Life, but every time I try to run the game, it says "Protection System. Application installed successfully. Reboot the computer to complete the installation. Continue?" I did a lot of research online about this and apparently it has something to do with the notorious StarForce. I checked my Device Manager but I do not have any StarForce drivers installed (I probably uninstalled them at some point after installation of Still Life). When I reboot, nothing happens. Before, I originally had to run as an administrator but now the reboot thing pops up. Please help!!

what OS are you using? I was never able to get it working in Windows 7 but luckily have XP on a dual boot setup

The only solution that I have found for Still Life on Vista/Win7 is to set compatibility mode to NT4, however, StarForce does not like this, so you have to also use a No-CD patch. Because the patch is also associated with piracy, don't ask for links to it here. It is easy enough to find.

Thanks guys. I solved it a while ago but it had to do with the No-Cd file. I just got a new one. Cheers!
