Why do you think this happened?

I inserted the game Ceville for the first time into my PC and waited for a screen to pop up, yet this never happened. So I went to My Computer and tried double clicking on the D: drive and double clicking on the Explore option that appears when you right click it. This would not bring up no screens or anything, not even error screens. I ended up doing this about a hundred times as well. I them went on to the Command Prompt programme and typed in "D:”, hit enter and I got an message saying "driver has an I/O error" or something very similar to that. I also typed in "Tree D:" and the same thing happened.

I then tried to load a different game but the same things as above happened, so I turned off my internet connection, rebooted my PC and tried again. This time however, Ceville worked perfectly.

EDIT: Yeah, I haven't got much knowledge on computers.
