looking for Curse of Monkey Island
The Curse of Monkey Island looks like such a great game, but it seems hard to acquire because of its age. Where is a good place to get curse at a decent price? physical copy or download, doesn't matter to me. Also would it be possible to run it on windows 7 64 bit? Any help would be greatly appreciated, I would love to experience this game.

If you wait just a little while, you can get the remastered version on Steam and later on Telltalegames I believe.
The game will have all new graphics, but at the same time you are able to switch back to the old graphics - while playing

Im pretty sure you are thinking about Lechuck's Revenge, but I was thinking hopefully they will re release Curse after they release Revenge.
Edit: also I am definitely getting Lechuck's revenge when it is released on Steam soon Last edited by browen; 06-29-2010 at 09:57 PM. |

Really??
Shees, I always confuse those two, lol. Well, then - guess you have to check on Ebay then. Only place where you can get it at the moment - probably very pricey though.

thanks. Yeah ebay probably is my best bet, I checked and there are some that are just the disc for $0.99. Hopefully it will be compatible with my computer, and also not a ebay scam or something.

You don't need to worry about getting it to work on your system. Just download the latest version of ScummVM, check the readme/forums on which files need to be copied onto your hard drive, load up ScummVM and play it.

thanks Gazzoid, I didn't know I needed ScummVM to run Curse, I thought that was just for really old adventure games. I was wondering why the demo wasn't working before, but now I can actually play it.
