Resident Evil last boss fight

Ok, this is an extremely old game I know, but I'm having a heck of a time with the final Boss fight

Spoiler:
When I'm running like a little girl from the second tyrant on the roof and waiting for Brad to throw the freaking rocket launcher, no matter what I do, he throws the freaking thing at under three seconds to go! How do I get him to throw it so I have time to kill the Tyrant?

I am playing the PC version.
