Post Mortem running slow.
 
I've installed XP onto my new PC thinking it would allow me to play games that won't run on Vista/7. How wrong I was. Anyone know how to get this title running properly on new configurations? The beginning cut scene is fine, but when the game starts and you choose from the conversation trees it takes about three minutes to finally kick in after a piece of dialogue is selected. The characters also move very slowly also.

If it's the processor cores (which I'm expecting) is there a way to trick the game into thinking there is just one?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
