Discworld Noir SCUMMVM
Does anyone know if Discworld Noir is available through SCUMMVM or is going to be made for it?
I can't get the game working with Windows XP and would love to replay this classic. |

You can thank me in left over halloween candy.... I got it to run just fine on my quad-core Vista 64 machine, so don't be discouraged. Except, like Jeppe says in one of the posts, a couple of options don't work in the game, but it isn't game-breaking by any means. |

Still, it'd be nice to get it on SCUMMVM....

Because, for some people, it crashes a lot at certain intervals? I can't get past nobby in the cafe anke. I haven't tried your solution, though I will get around to it. But I'd rather another alternative. If not SCUMMVM then a reissue... which is possibly the least likely thing to happen under the sun but god damn it I want it way more than is rational.

To answer the original question, games supported by ScummVM are listed on its official site.

I'm not stupid I know that. I can't get past the wharf because the places won't show up, I've looked it up online and it's a common problem.

There was one guy (Kerbox), that wanted to reverse-engineer it for ScummVM, but instead he'll probably be integrating it to ScummVM's 3D counterpart Residual. Here's a link to a forum post:
http://residual.scummvm.org/viewtopic.php?t=9&start=13 Also, he released the code he worked on separetely, probably hoping to merge it one day and maybe even attract new developers, he made it public: http://residual.scummvm.org/viewtopic.php?p=76 Direct link: http://sourceforge.net/projects/tinselnoir The project is a bit stale and very little progress is done at the moment, so people who are willing to work on it, at least that's way i understood it when talking to kerbox, would be more than welcome to join the effort. The means of contacting is via the #tinselnoir or #scummvm channel on irc.freenode.net . The prior isn't that active anymore. Hope this was helpful.
