I've reached part four of the game and the wizard is alone and needs to cast a glow spell... but I used up all my fire essence on the trees to get here!

I've replayed the previous part several times and it's NOT helping....

There is a mine where I can get some more essence but it seems if I try to mine it the dwarf dies!

Has ANYBODY played this game? Can you help?

It has been millenia since I last played this game, but I do believe there is a way to regenerate your essence inside the ruins...

I remember something about teleporting in a pickaxe... and then mining?

Or is that when the dwarf dies?

Sorry for bringing up more questions, haha.

But you are supposed to loose all your fire essence on the way in, so no sense in replaying beforehand. There are reagents in there, somewhere.

The thing is I'm out essence for glow and I think I need glow to get to the mines?

The dwarf has already "died" in battle but for some reason he's back...

Hmmn... I remember that now. Yeah those vines. FLARE gets rid of them, and then after the talk with the trees its GLOW to get into the mines...

Damn... I don't know why you'd run out before the mines...

According to a guide I just looked up, directly before Chapter IV you get reagents. Did you?

I just replayed that section and I think I got them this time? But I have to go to work... I'll post again if it doesn't work!

Ok, now I'm MAD! I did the EXACT SAME things and now I run out spells even sooner!
The guide says I can make it through the mountain at the beginning without using a spell, but that's a lie... all paths make one of you guys die!

EDIT: I made it to the final part... the guide says I have to combine water and air but... I can only combine the reagent! What am I doing wrong! D:
EDIT EDIT: WHAT THE.... I ran out of wind essence this time? This is getting ridiculous!
