Belief and betrayal flickering graphics

I have the game patched to 1.01 and installed the directx that came with the game. Turning off the shadows stopped the flickering around the main character but it keeps happening around the cat and in the cutscene where officer Colletti comes into the room the flickering is still a problem. Is there a way to fix it?

Change the default 60Mhz option to 75Mhz.
Also, update your DirectX files.
Check your NVIDIA PhysX settings.
It worked for me. I Use WinXP on a fast computer.
