Default GK2 chapter 4 post 1.11 patch save?
Encountered the crash after completing all of chapter 3. Happy days.

Has anyone a post installed 1.11 patch save file, right at the beginning of chapter 4?

It depends which version of the game you have.
Is it from the GK Mysteries Limited (1998) Edition or the single game version (1995)?

Just look on the CD for a file named version. Open it in Notepad to see what version you have.

There are different versions. All are will run on Win 95. Only the version file will tell you what version you have.

Then a save from anyone that has version 1.12 will work for you. If no one where has one, you might also ask on the official GK forums at Vivendi. Just let them know what version you have and whether you need a save games from the DOS or Windows game.

Yeah, way ahead of ya. Done that before this topic.

Would have thought there would be an abundance of saves for this series on the net. Will someone please sort me out with one here? Going crazy not being able to play it.

Don't delete you save games. You can still use them if you reinstall the DOS version. Just don't install it in the same folder as the Hendroz's Windows installer or it will crash.
