Condemned elevator glitch

This is in Chapter 7. After he gets the

Spoiler:
crowbar and is ready to head to the rare books room theres a man with a gun in the elevator and he's indestructable. Sometimes he's there when Jason gets in, sometimes he rises from the floor. Then, he shows up in wierd spots later.

He wasn't there for me, but this seems like an intelligent game and he plays better than me. Is this some wierd slitch, or part of the game.

Please help.

I experienced this as well and i couldn't understand what was going on. Don't worry though it's just a glitch. There's a few of them in the game. I even experienced one with a couple of achievements at the end. Two of them wouldn't unlock even once i'd collected all the dead birds and metal pieces.

Easily fixed. For future reference you need to use [ ] instead of < > around the tags.

In advanced posting mode you can also just highlight the text you want to spoiler and use the "?" button (on the formatting bar, not on your keyboard) and it will add the tags in automatically.

Did you get the glitch multiple times when you played the part, or was it a one-time deal?

It happened from that save every time. He even followed JD out of the elevator and killed him.

Finally he went back pretty far and redid part of the chapter and the elevator was empty.

Since I've never heard of it I had to look it up and I see now that's it's an action game. I just thought it was a new AG.
