journey to the centre of the earth

Hi All,
i have just got to the giants talked with Kanoul the suppose to go left to the gate go left when goes to edge of screen kicks me out in to desktop is there a fix for this ?????,

I had loads of problems with this game, when it comes to crashes.
Only solution I found was to download tons of savegames from here.
