Default Why can't I run King Quest 8 with 3d graphic cards?
Why can't I run King Quest 8 with 3d graphic cards?

On my older systems many years ago, I could run it with Direct3d, but not anymore. I can run the game, but it looks terrible(it actually looks quite good still with 3D)! The option for 3d is not even avaiable! Why is this and can I fix it?

I think this is fate's way of telling you that you should never play King's Quest 8.

3DFX cards were the only way to get hight resolutions from this game. 3DFX and Glide have been replaced with DirectX and OpenGL. The only way to get higher resolutions is to try a Glide wrapper or emulator. It can come with a heavy performance price, though. Glide Wrappers
