Default mouse problem with phantasmagoria 2

Hi!

I Finally got this game working with the "p2dosxp-patch". Only problem now is the mouse, there's no precision. Have to concentrate like crazy to get it to point where I want it to.

I'm not sure there is any help for this but can't hurt to ask.
Does anyone know anything I can try, cause it severly ruins the gaming.

please

Hmm never came across this problem...

Have you tried to run the game with VDMSound? That's the only thing I can think of at the moment

Yes, I've got vdmsound on. I thank you for trying .

I've given up on it for the moment. Fortunatly I am not out of games to play, so I'll be allright. It's just so much more annoying when I'm the only one with these issues. Must be related to mu system somehow then

Here is a link with a very detailed explanation on how to get the game running in DOS. Maybe you'll find the answer here:

http://home.earthlink.net/~infernofi...DOS2_Setup.htm

If not, maybe you should try to run the game in XP (again)!

Check out the following websites for more info:

Don't give up! Getting it to run is have the fun

Ready for round 2?

I have the exact same problem, I installed the XP patch & vdms sound and still nothing.
The mouse problem occurs only ingame not in main menu.

Has anyone found anything on this?? Cant wait to start playing this game!

VDMS is dead. Play it in DOSBox.

Thanks for remind me. I have to play that game again. I can't get it to run in XP, but wine runs it fine in Linux, so I play it there.

I have the same problem...and used the VDM install.
To use DosBox do I have to make another install? or do I just lunch the game-file from DosBox?
(and if yes...how? )

Thanks for any help
