Gabriel Knight 2 save game problem
 

G/f was playing Gabriel Knight 2 and after a conversation on the 4th disc the game crashed. Restarted the game and tried to load the last save we recieved this..

"that game was saved under a different game or interpreter version"

there are many older saves, and now we get the same message on every single save we had been using....

i dont even know what to do.

The only thing that comes to mind is to copy all of your save game files and put them in a new folder elsewhere (say the desktop) just in case you lose the save games. Then uninstall and reinstall your game and put your save games back in where they were before and see if that helps.

Have you appied all the patches?

It happened to me also, and when I reinstalled the game it was OK.

Applying the patches can make the saved games stop working in many Sierra games, so I don't think doing it at this point would help.
