Stupid Question about BS

Is Broken Sword: The Shadow of the Templars on 1cd or 2cd´s?
Is this really THE first game in BS series?

Yes, it's the first game in the series.

Mine is 2 CDs but it's the North American release (named Circle of Blood). I don't know for sure how many CDs the Shadow of the Templars version has.

A lot of the space is probably taken up by the audio. This was in the days before efficient audio compression was widespread.

Both BS and the first sequel do indeed come on two CDs if you buy the PC versions (or one DVD if you buy the recent Sold-Out rerelease).

Indeed - the whole game takes up 375MB if you compress the audio using the ScummVM tools (and use the cutscenes downloaded from the ScummVM site).
