Stuck In Ankh!
Yes, a brand new adventure and I'm already stuck. I don't know if anyone even has this game yet besides me! So, I might be screwed. Nevertheless...
I'm onto Part II and I'm stuck in Pharaoh's dungeon. I've managed to get the door open but the crocodile now bars my way. I've picked up the file and given the wine to Person Behind The Hole to get me an empty bottle - but now I've got no idea. There's too little room to do things wrong, so I'm stumped at what to do next! |

There's something to use the file on in the cell. Once you find that, it should be pretty obvious what to do next.

I've tried using it on the cake, the hole, the dead comedian, the scrawling, the door and the captain in chains. Am I missing something then?
EDIT: Did it. This happens to me every time. I get stuck, I find the answer, and it turns out to be something I swear I've tried dozens of times. Thanks though, it helped! Last edited by The Tingler; 03-10-2006 at 01:42 PM. |

Been there, done that, created new sequences of swear words to prove it. Glad you got unstuck, though!

OK, next... this is incredibly embarrassing, but can you give me just a small hint on how to get that snake out of the Grail? Yes, I know it's the very next puzzle - that's why it's embarrassing. I feel a right amateur...
I've got the flute but can't play it, the snake responds the rattle but I can't do anything with it... I can't pick up anything else around town, no one wants to help me... I've got a new silver coin though. Help! UPDATE: Forget it, I did it. Gawd aim an awful eedjit! Last edited by The Tingler; 03-14-2006 at 04:32 PM. |

Don't feal bad about the snake. I'm stuck at that one too only I haven't been able to get myself un-stuck the way you did. Any hints for how to get the snake out?
Thx, ...bysmitty

Oops, I passed that part already (and the game for that matter) but thanks Rippa. I forgot that I created that post while stuck. It took about an hour but I eventually realized what I needed to do with the rattle.
Great game. ...bysmitty

OK, next!
Okay. Way later now. Now we want the Pharaoh's daughter back and I've got to solve some seemingly unrelated puzzles to do it. God I love adventure games!
Anyway - I need a cocktail umbrella. The Sphinx Souvenir Seller's got one. He wants Red Giza Scorpions. I've found some regular ones at the abandoned stand down the palace's back alley. I presume the bucket with red paint in will help. Trouble is, Assil won't touch them. Using Bucket on Scorpions doesn't work. I'm stuck. Help! (I'm sure I'll solve it, but for now, can I have a hint?) |

Stuck in Ankh
I've picked up the Pharaoh imitating "captain" and I'm trying to lead the guard away from his post. I use the "captain" twice and I end up - automatically, I might add - on the stairs leading to the outside hallway, with the guard standing in the doorway. I can't scale the stairs for the guard will see me, and I can't get the guard to hear the Pharaoh either. Thara can walk across the bridge/walkway now, but the guard blocks her path through the next door, and I'm unable to get Thara or Assil to stand on the blocks opposite the "Osiris" door. The latter of which I assume is my exit. Any help?
I'm in Chapter 3, incidentally. Last edited by AudioSoldier; 03-22-2006 at 11:15 AM. |

No, he wants genuine Red Giza Scorpions, and he wants to go catch them himself. Which, ofcourse, would give Assil the opportunity to... borrow something.

I'm frankly sick and tired of hearing the same old guard voice every time I try and lead him away: "My pharaoh, where are you?" GRR |

Hi there,
Audio Soldier>Has the guard moved enough to clear the dark area? One call from captain he walks into the towery thing and with the second call he enters the hallway. If this is the way and you can get Tara into the tower, than think of a simpler solution For a more direct solution, read this message again from the start, paying attention to a a small word with a big hint. Have fun.... |

She's in the tower yes, and the guard is in the hallway... What's the key word, "tower"? |
