Hole?! Back in a minute...

UPDATE: No, still no hole. Tried the unopened canned figs on the two mechanisms, but Assil won't have it.

Time for straight answers now guys, I think. Feel free to spoiler-tag them...

Right, I've basically just entered the Sphinx, picked up the hammer, can of figs, Memo 1 & 2, and I can't get to Memo 3 or do anything else. What next?

The key is in your house. Use the thingy on the second floor and look around in the first floor for a newly opened secret.

For memo 3, where can you see something that looks like a ladder? Use it with cement and you get half of a ladder.

House? I can't get out of the Sphinx! Assil says that the entrance is sealed! Besides, how am I supposed to get back inside the house with his father guarding the way?

The key to open the 'hole' for the figs is not in your house. That key isn't needed yet. Have you created the ladder and retrieved memo #3? You will find the key near there.

Well Emre did confuse me a bit.

I've poured the water in the ladder-shaped bit (very clever), but I can't find anything else to use. I've tried opening that box of building material, but it doesn't seem to have any use. Even tried smashing it open with the hammer.

Go all the way to the right on upper section. I mean, start from where you poured the water, passs the pool and continue to the where you can see and click the note,learning that you can't reach it. There is a bag of cement somewhere near, find it. You can't reach it, either. Use something (I can't remember what) to push it to drop. Go back to ground level and get it,mix cement with water and use it on sand. You will have a half ladder. Use it on the rightmost section on ground level to get 3rd memo and a key. As far as I remember, this is the key to open the nose lock. 3rd note also implies another key (which is the one I confused you about and in your home)

when in the temple before you go down the stairs go right and you will see the instructions that tell you what to do there...

I missed those and ended up doing half the thing with trial and error, I thought there was some logic to what I was doing but I just couldnt see it untill I accidently stumbled onto the instructions
