KEEPSAKE help needed!

I ma stuck in Keepsake where the internal hint s

ystem tells me to build a bridge across the river but the building device is on the other side of the river and I can't cross it!
Can somebody help me please?

Welcome to the Forum, Meritor.

Unfortunately, Keepsake has been - as far as I know - released only in Germany, so the number of people who may be able to help is rather limited. But, hopefully, someone who played the game will see your question soon. Just be patient.

Actually, it seems to be out in Italian already.

Sorry about that, Meritor, I assumed you'd be speaking German, as I didn't know of other language releases. Of course, I would have posted a link to a walkthrough in English anyway, but I am unable to find any...

I just checked at GameBoomers because I remembered seeing an English walkthrough there, and it seems the developer and publishers have asked that English walkthroughs not be posted until the game's English release. GameBoomers has taken their walkthrough down until then.

Did you try using the game's built-in hint system?

It's been too long for me to remember specifics, but I'm quite sure you need to leave the building from another exit to reach the side of the bridge you need. So if you can't reach it from where you are, head back inside and look for an exit on the opposite side of the building. My guess is the exit you need is where you restore power, but I really can't recall clearly.

The bridge building point can be reached if you exit the Academy through the "backdoor" ie engine room or basement
