Default Someone spoil the end of Runaway for me

So, I got all the way up to the of this game, but never actually finished it. I have since moved (left the game / computer the game was installed on) at my parents house, and won't have access to them for quite awhile.

Someone spoil the end of this game for me please The point in the game I actually got to was the start of Chapter 6.

Gina becomes a pr0n star and the rest of the characters simply went back to PS for Runaway 2.

All I can remember is that after solving the case you want to (lamely) resume university studies instead of, hmm, having fun with the girl but in the last moment you stop her red sports car and jump in. (No, not to back seats

Then comes credits/outro and rock music plays... which ROCKS

IIRC, they take all the gangster money and keep it, Brian deciding to ditch a return to college/university in return for running off with Gina.

In other words, the characters that we're supposed to care about suddenly decide to follow an entirely dishonest and illegal path ...

The ending movie (although geographically inaccurate) is great... Brian and Gina cruising across the Golden Gate bridge in a convertible.

Although I admit that him blowing off Berkeley to go off with her was kind of... out of character.

They head off to some tropical island, which is where Runaway 2 will pick up.

... that is exactly what makes you wonder if the ending is simply romantic or realistic...
I say it is real enough; don't tell me that in their shoes you'd return the pile of dough to Uncle Bush to finance another war in Iraq...
and what's life without a little romance... and the Sound Of Muuuusic...

What annoyed me was that it wasn't just entirely out of character; I was being expected to actively root for and support a couple of crooks who have no problem with breaking the law several times to serve purely their own ends. And that made me feel bad.

Thanks for the spoilers all.

Good game, wish I would have finished back when I could have, but this works as well, hehe.

Now for Runaway 2. Hopefully there will be less pixel-hunting in the sequel, but if not, I'll still be playing it
