Default Running old VESA games on XP

I amhaving trouble running some VESA games on XP, especially big red adventure. I got it to run, but there is no cursor!!! Other games like LSL7, SQ6 and Touche run well for about 10 minutes, but then freeze. Any suggestions how may I avoid this?

I have the same problem... I downloaded the game from underdogs and it freezes every time the main menu comes up... the tip no the underdogs page is to install VDMSund thing and turn on standard vesa support... but I haven't succeeded yet...

Keep in mind that you need a fairly decent system to run games on dosbox, especially with vesa support enabled.
It's way to high reached for my pIII 866 with 256MB ram in any case
