It was about time. Considering how much it took them, they might consider coming out with a remake.

There's good chance of this, isn't there? TS and LA seem to have a strong following in Europe. Hope that will help with the sales.

Have you got a source for this news? I haven't found a press release yet.

Oh, and this rate Psychonauts will have arrived in the UK by the time DVDBoxOffice.com decide to post me a copy .

I read French well enough to understand the news post. I'm still going to wait for a press release from the UK branch of THQ before I get my hopes up, though ...

If true then it's certainly awesome news. The games where sold out at the DF Shop when I ordered some stuff from there (which I got yesterday btw ), so I never got the Excellent Game Psychonauts. I sure as hell will get it if it comes to Europe though.

THQ Inc. and Majesco Entertainment Company Announce International Sales and Distribution Agreement

CALABASAS HILLS, Calif., Aug. 18: THQ Inc. (Nasdaq: THQI) and Majesco Entertainment Company (Nasdaq: COOL) today announced an international sales and distribution agreement. Under the terms of the agreement, THQ will sell and distribute 14 Majesco titles for the current console, handheld and PC platforms over a two year period in all PAL territories.

"This is a great opportunity for THQ to expand its portfolio of products internationally," stated Ian Curran, Senior Vice President, European Publishing, THQ. "Working with Majesco on such critically-acclaimed games as Psychonauts and key licensed properties such as Jaws is a great opportunity for THQ to expand our business and realise the success of these titles globally."

"This initiative significantly expands Majesco's global presence," said Jesse Sutton, president of Majesco. "THQ is recognized worldwide as a premier publisher and we are excited to partner with them to effectively extend our brands throughout the global community."

The sales and distribution deal covers such highly anticipated titles as Psychonauts, Jaws Unleashed, Nanostray, Aeon Flux, Age of Empires 2, and Black & White Creatures.

Seriously, Jaws Unleashed looks really cool. I mean, you play the shark and get to eat people and stuff!

(okay, I know, that sounds a bit stupid, but the fact is that Jaws Unleashed isn't your average "generic movie licence"-game, so I think it deserves a chance)

Translated? Well, that's better than dubbed. Anyway I'm still hoping my USA copy will arrive soon... *sigh*

My list of "games I eagerly await and need to play" is growing and growing. I'm glad, it's a raining summer anyway. Ok, this is just an excuse.
