Max Payne 2 Teaser Trailer
http://pc.ign.com/articles/437/437965p1.html
IGN has a small teaser for the game, but according to the developers in IRC they're going to be releasing the full-blown trailer sometime today. I swear to god, when Max and Mona are making out, it's in bullet-time! Seriously! Bullet-time love-making! That's innovation!!

Looks cool, good music. I haven't played through the first one yet. I will when I get the time. The sequel could be good too by the look of it.

Something was wrong with the '.wmv' (or whatever) file because I got a weird error when I tried to download it ('Doesn't not include valid URL(s)'), so I went for the QuickTime version, which will take about an hour on my crappy connection. I can't wait to see it, the original was one of my favorite action games in recent years and I have very high expectations for this one, maybe too high, but anticipation is half the fun.

Just finished downloading the trailer and all I have to say is: Beautiful! The music brought chills down my neck... I think I'll watch the teaser one more time then wait for the promised 'full-blown trailer'.

Like Henke said, good music. I really liked the theme song from the first game (of which this piece was obviously based). The game looks great--it'd be nice to see a little more then just run-and-gun, as in the original, though.

I agree with everything said here, although I think the 'set design' is a bit bland. I don't mean there should be more circus lights, since this is a film noir type of game. I just think that what we see in this trailer could be any random location from May Payne 1. But I may be over-analysing.

Everything's going to be in bullet time in the game. Max will open his car door and they'll show it in bullet time. He'll quietly read a newspaper, and they'll show it in bullet time.

i just seen it....em........well......it's okay i guess...
too bad that except the grafics there doesn't seem to be a lot different (but of course, i am not one of those pre-judgers ...) i will wait for more. This was a really small video for a game like that...(but i have to say that some of the grafics look as the first's game...)Especially when you sea the guy shooting at the camera and the camera moves backwards...AUCh that was bad...or just the resolution is bad..i dunno... Anyway...Max looks fantastic (face) and the music is great orxistated .... and it has a great atmosphere... --------------------- I want to be able to kiss the couple on the gameplay

Yeah, I watched the movie this morning. Yes, it's beautiful. Almost sexy, even. And I find it refreshing that this time love is the motivating factor. The only thing I found incredibly akward was that kissing scene with Max and Mona. It looked stupid, as if the developers, so used to doing nothing but action sequences, never studied those kinds of scenes in movies and never reflected on it, and they made it look like some prepubescent boy's idea of what love is supposed to be.
Director Hironobu Sakaguchi himself said of his work on Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within that the single most difficult part of it was doing the animation of Aki and Gray kissing. He mentioned that it was very hard making the CG characters look perfectly natural doing it. I agree, primarily because love has been one of the last unexplored territories in computer games. Most developers have never delved into it as a viable and powerful subject matter, and I'm truly hoping that they'll explore it more. And...... .......it comes out next month!!!! OMG, that awareness floored me!

Can't wait to play the game. The first one was so breathtaking for me, the second one looks to be of the same caliber.

Mira, you may want to keep a bucket of ice water next to you before you watch the trailer. The music alone might send a hot rush through you.
