Anyway, as much fun as discussing Silent Hill in a thread about Haunting Ground is...
Flux: If the Silent Hill games are too frightening for you, I would stay away from Haunting Ground. It's pretty scary, not just gory. Like, the constant fear of running into your enemies is frightening, and the characters are all very disturbing in their actions.

Was afraid of that. Curse my scaredness. I know I'd like Silent Hill so much if I could just play it.
Maybe I need therapy.

I haven't bought a console game in a long time, not counting the DS ones, but I just might get this one...

Well, I just beat it, and I thought the ending was rather satisfying. It tied up all the plot, while leaving a few things only somewhat explained, allowing the player to come to their own conclusions.
I got the best ending, but apparently there's four different ones, so I'm playing through the game again. Also, there's a wealth of unlockables, including different costumes for every single character in the game, a minigame where you play as the dog, the ability to watch any cutscene in the game (Of which there are many, including some that are really rare)... So it does have replayability. I would recommend it to anyone who likes adventure games or survival horror games. And don't worry, it's not too hard, unlike some other Capcom games I know...
