Default EA buys 20% of Ubisoft

Can this be anything other than bad news?

I hate EA. Why won't they just die.

Maybe this will bring us the long-awaited sequel to BG&E?

Only if they can somehow tie it in with the James Bond universe...

Ubi had a great run for a year or two, but then started acting like it wanted to be EA, anyway. Either way, more EA is always bad news.

I really like UBI the most among publishers. They still are supporting Adventure games, and they have some of the best reportoire of titles that I enjoy playing. I hope the transaction doesn't go through. Competition is always good in any sector.

Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!

P.S.: I really have a strong dislike for EA. I would say hate, but then, hate is such a strong word. But if anything ever deserved my hate, then it was this company. Though the Sims was nice...

The thing about EA is that every once in a while, they make some good games. But I still hate them, its almost uncalled for. I guess I can blame it on this. Ubisoft is my new favorite publisher/developer. I hope they don't get torn apart.

I have to admit that this is not good news, contrary to that guy who jumped up and down in excitement when the news was announced (That's right, you know who you are )

I just hope that EA doesn't buy all of UBI Soft. Then, I'll be very distressed about it. From what I've heard, EA likes to make crappy games just so that they can make money. I mean, I was really excited about Goldeneye: Rogue Agent when I saw the previews and the gameplay videos on Gamespot. But, then their review came up, and boy was it negative.

Overall, this news really worries me, and I hope that UBI Soft will still be able to make great games, and not let EA get in their way.
