Default G4TechTV airing a history of Valve

If you own G4 tech tv, don't miss the ICONs episode about valve. I watched it yesterday and it is really nice to get to know the people behind one of the best games of all time. From the founding of the company, to the creation of Half life, and then the theft of the source code of HL2, there is some good gaming history. The rerun airs on : 11/20/2004 5pm ET / 2pm PT US time
and here is the link for the episode

Enjoy

There's not much history. They made Half-Life. Then they made Half-Life 2.

Well the founder of Valve was an MS employee. They talked to Carmack to get the engine for HL which if I understood correctly was also the quake engine. They hit the wall after one year of developing HL where they had to rework a lot of the source code. Their code was stolen right when they were gonna release HL2 so the whole project was delayed a year. They used the internet community to track down the hacker who did it. Plus they talk about some of the technologies they used in creating HL2. I can make a movie out of this stuff Trust me I saw the show yesterday, and it's pretty good

Valve has existed for nine years now. Enough history methinks...
