You mean Mr Jeffery worked for EA originally? That must make him one of the only people on EA's staff that isn't a money-obsessed sequel maker.

OK. Fair play. But he did at least commission some new stuff. And at least most of the games they produced a)got published and b)didn't suck back then. And yes, I enjoyed Escape from Monkey Island.

Apparently though the new Luftwaffe game was wholly mediocre. LucasArts really put their stamp of quality on that one.

Yeah it was quite mediocre, it kind of ruined Larry Holland's perfect line of games.

I kind of enjoyed it, due to its simplistic controls. I'm no hardcore flight-sim fan, so it was fun just to concentrate on shooting down the bad guys, without reading 300+ page manual just to learn how to take off and then spend another 10 days remembering all 100 keyboard key mappings the game uses to control a freakin' airplane.
