Xbox vs. PS2 vs. Gamecube

I'd have to go with Xbox. I like their exclusive games better than the others.

bigjko 08-11-2004 12:19 PM

GameCube. Because almost every game I've bought has brought me endless pleasure (one of them did literally, SSBM) Maybe I'm just picky, but maybe Nintendo just makes good games.

Tabula Rasa 08-11-2004 12:20 PM

Based on Best Hardware - X Box

Based on Best Games - PS2

Eddy 08-11-2004 01:13 PM

I chose ps2 because of the silent hill games.

Sly Boots 08-11-2004 01:57 PM

Easy... the PC

RemiO 08-11-2004 02:07 PM

SH2 and SH4 are available for the Xbox too. ;

Anyway, I'll have to go with the Xbox, as most games I'm interested in have been released for it.

edlglide 08-11-2004 02:10 PM

Xbox is technically superior, but PS2 has far better games (in my opinion, of course) with the exception of KOTOR. And I just bought that for PC. So my vote went to PS2.

Eddy 08-11-2004 02:11 PM

Yes but SH2 was my first game for ps2 and I was playing and replaying it every day.
It's one of the best games I ever played.

Molgera 08-11-2004 02:23 PM

Gamecube, easily. I couldn't very well play Metroid, Zelda, Mario, SSB, Mario Kart, or F-Zero games on the other consoles.

guybrush_guy 08-11-2004 02:52 PM

I'd never vote for the x-box because it would be the same as voting for the PC and since the PC is not on the list I'd have to make that selection void.

so, it's now between the ps2 and gamecube. i have both systems and I'm a bigger fan of the gamecube graphically but the PS2 has the best games. without so little good games, the Gamecube cant really do much so I'd say PS2 has my vote.

P.S. don't get me wrong when i says that the gamecube doesn't have good games. it does, but just not as many as the PS2

Everyone seems to let the dreamcast slip from thier memories. I admit that it was way before its time and had almost no games. But wasn't it built on windows CE? I don't remember but I know it was super cool to run emulators on it and i think they even had a linux emulator you could run on it. I'll never forget playing phantasy star online on that little grey machine.

SoccerDude28 08-11-2004 03:23 PM

I definitely choose PC. It is the ultimate gaming machine which cannot be paralleled in terms of technology wonder and titles. But since PC is not up there, I'll go with PS2.

Jony 08-11-2004 03:34 PM

Well PS2 has "Winning Eleven" aka "Pro Evolution Soccer" so I am gonna vote for them.

C_Knight 08-11-2004 03:42 PM

easy answer...PS2...and the sales of both US and Japan clarify that...in terms of sales that is...

but i love ps2 because of all the goddamn awesome RPGS...
SquareEnix is my pimp :7

bigjko 08-11-2004 05:35 PM

You're bad!

I didn't vote. Like Tabs Rasa:

Best hardware - Xbox
Best games - PS2 (granted, it's been out longer so it has more good games)

Draco2.5 08-11-2004 05:46 PM

I'm annoyed with the PS2's game line-up so far for this year. Cause there have only been like two or three good games this year.

Royal Fool 08-11-2004 06:24 PM

I chose GameCube.

But, sadly, the GBA SP would whoop them all.

Kolzig 08-12-2004 05:06 AM

God damnit!

Dreamcast of course!

Beyond Delphine 08-12-2004 12:42 PM
