DHTML Lemmings
|
It's been ages since I last played Lemmings. It's nice to relive the good old days. I miss the music though.

I would really like to play Lemmings 2: The Tribes right about now...
I have never owned the game, but played it couple of times on a friend's Amiga about 10 years ago. |
It's a nice idea but it became VERY slow on the 3rd level of easy, but the timer did not so I couldn't complete it. A few bugs to be ironed out yet, but it's a very impressive recreation of the original and must have taken quite a bit or work. Infact as far as I can tell all it's missing is the music. Amateur programmers impress me alot.

It's a nice idea I guess, but I thought it had been realized long ago that DHTML is not a viable platform for things like these. It's slow and the game seemed to slow down a lot in the third level when there were over 30 lemmings on screen at once.

The game looks incomplete without the music... I have Lemmigns for Windows lying around somewhere... :P (Starts humming a Lemming tune) |

The graphics are better than I expected. Not bad!
I think it's funny that Neopets tried to make a Lemmings-like game. They call it Toybox Escape. |
That games pretty cool. I played it on fun mode. :)

I found the rom for the Super Nintendo version of the game online. I played it for about 70 levels, until I found one that I just couldn't beat. Then I stopped playing.
