Alan Wake to PC
Now official:http://forum.alanwake.com/showthread.php?t=7525
Remedy Entertainment is proud to announce the PC release of Alan Wake. Coming in early 2012, the game will give PC gamers the Alan Wake experience they have been patiently waiting for. Remedy is a developer with deep roots in the PC space (Death Rally and Max Payne 1 and 2), so the game will have the high resolution polish that longtime fans will expect. What can i say,i love my pc:D |
Great! We just got LA Noire, and now this! Perhaps a PC is still worth it. Plus, you can play console games with emulators.
|
Little bit too late. This will not sell well.
|
It would be funny if they charged 60€ for it. What's not funny is that Skyrim reference.
|
The game was ok, but it wasn't GOTY or anything.
Unless they have changed it from the console version, I can't see this selling that well. Most people who wanted to play it, did it over a year ago. Now if it comes bundled with the new American Nightmare game it may do better. |

I knew which Skyrim reference you were talking about, until I took an arrow in the knee... |
O happy day :)
Oh, and PC was always worth it. Especially now with so easy access to indie titles (Frozen Synapse alone makes the PC gaming a better place) :D |
Even though from the footage I've seen of the game it looks a little on the nose, I'm glad it's coming out on PC and will probably grab a copy for its uniqueness factor. It looks fun.

At last !!! :)
A must-have for me. Don´t forget to watch the short Bright Falls before playing the game http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=boyGPvfA5B4 |
Did anyone see the tech demo for Alan Wake before the pc version was canned? Yeah, that was the PC version, not the 360 version. This will sell well for the sake that the graphics will get a HUGE boost, not to mention, it will most likely cost 30 or 20$. Come on people, there have been many big name ports to pc that took a long time that didn't cost much at all.
|
Well, well, it sure pays off to be a stubborn PC gamer like I am. :)
I'm happy enough that L.A. Noire alone came out for PC and now this too.. Now they only have to port Heavy Rain to make things really perfect. ;) |
Stubborn PC Gamer or not. Some things should still be left for the right physical gameplay mechanics. Alan Wake in my opinion (just like LA Noire) works quite well with the PC platform. :)
|
This is great news! Now the only reason I'd still want an xbox is Gears of War. Hopefully it will be a decent port.

The best controller for gaming on the pc is the xbox 360 wired controller. $30 and is compatible with pretty much any game that uses it. Compatibility is key and thats where I don't have a problem. When people complain that their logitech controller doesn't work, then things get messy. Again, why would it be wrong to think that certain games should stay on the respective console? Seriously, where are all the people complaining that zelda isn't on the pc? Seriously? |

Another reason for people not complaining that much is probably because the Wii is way cheaper than a PS3. |

Granted, I don't play too many games with a gamepad, because I prefer the keyboard and mouse setup, but still... |
