Guy Ripping of art...
I came over this guy on deviant art: http://lahabz.deviantart.com/art/Mys...m-SD-164124993
Apparently he claims to repaint scenes "frome some game" as he puts it so nicely. But you can clearly see some flaws: 1. The left part of the cape is still showing in his picture. 2. The doorway is narrowed, cutting away the trees. Result of cutting out character. 3. The left of the stairs is clearly made of brick. But in his version it starts out as bricks but then suddenly becomes a plain wall were the character have stood. This is a screen of the original scene: http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images...orypatch2.jpg/ Anyhow, i'm kinda mad at this. Especially when it is Bill Tillers work. Should at least credit him properly. Anyone that can recognize any other pictures? I can with a few, but cant remember from where. Anyway...Just had to ventilate myself haha :D peace out! |
Heh, seems he's used a bunch of casual adventure games also in similar pics he's linked there :P
People are weird, I have to say that. |
http://www.tineye.com/ helps with the few that I've tried.

Too bad one can't comment if one is not a member. |
I called him out on his page, he will probably delete it.
|
ya he deleted mine to, but gona keep make a coment on his page now and then when i remembre just bc i can lol ;D
|
He should have given credit to the actual game and artist, but as an artist there's nothing wrong with copying other peoples work as an exercise. It's good practice.
