Disclaimer: These pictures were taken from the latest edition of PC Gamer (May 2004), but are originally from PC Gamer (September 1999). The only way i know to check the answers is to use google image search, or looking up the September 1999 PC Gamer issue. Jaap |

Thanks for the high-res pics, jaap, they helped a lot. Well, I can safely say that I know my Game Gods. A reason might be that I have them on my wall at home, so I look at them more or less every day. I still can't remember four of them though.

Oh man, I have that issue of PC Gamer (the one from 99) buried somewhere back home. Nostalgia central.

Crap! Erik Yeo. I should have known that one.
I've gotta say that Jordan Mechner is very hard to recognize on that picture. |

OK, now that we've got more or less everybody, let me ask you this: Who should be on the pictures, but isn't?

Part two:
which games made them 'gamegods'? Or: name the games they've created. And indeed Al Lowe should have been on the pictures! And Alexey Pajitnov (Tetris). Jaap |

Ok, with many of these persons it’s rather hard to say exactly which game has made them the game gods they are today, but I’ll try to pick a game or two, or a game series for every person which they’re best known for or which best shows their greatness…
