Adventure games, broadly speaking, do not have high-end requirements. Telltale says, for tales of Monkey Island,

Considering my 2.5-yr old laptop plays Monkey Island just fine, I don't think you need to worry about it too much, just get something with a non-intel card, it should work out fine. In fact, even newer intel cards may be okish.
