Age of Decadence - indie cRPG, demo released
http://www.irontowerstudio.com/images/index_02.gif http://www.irontowerstudio.com/images/index_04.gif Age of Decadence, developed by Iron Tower Studio, is an upcoming: Quote:
And features such as these should interest AdventureGamers: Quote:
But combat is obviously a viable option as well, and a combat-demo (and that's exactly what it is, unfortunately not much else to explore) has just been released. EDIT: And bug-fixed, new version (with mirrors) available here. There's also a 'Survival Guide' for the demo here. And for some eye-candy (boatload of it in the gallery thread -nice to see how it evolved over the years-): http://s263.photobucket.com/albums/i..._2008_0180.jpg http://s263.photobucket.com/albums/i..._2008_0197.jpg http://s263.photobucket.com/albums/i..._2008_0199.jpg http://s263.photobucket.com/albums/i..._2009_0038.jpg Btw. Iron Tower hosts forums for a few other indie RPG devs, like DoubleBear Productions (founded by veteran Brian Mitsoda -who you might know from his work in BlackIsle, Troika and Obsidian- and Annie Carlson) for their Zombie RPG. That one's still pretty new, but there are weekly "Design Updates" posted by Brian to give you an early idea on the game. |
That sounds pretty impressive.

edit: oh and on a semi-related note, ever hear of the broken hourglass? Its a similar project thats been going on for a long time, and lately theyv added a blog by one of the devs who keeps it regularly updated: http://www.planewalkergames.com/ |
