Default Game Developers Conference

Just curious, anyone out there going to GDC? There's many game design students on these forums, and even some game developers, so I thought I'd give this a shot.

If I had the cash, plane tickets, free time and a game to show (and more than VERY BASIC programming skills), then I'd go.

I'm not going . One day...

I'm going, maybe I'll see you there. Eh, probably not. Too unlikely.

I'm really close to San Jose, but I am nothing to gaming...just a player. Meh, soon I will take over the [gaming] world!

I stay away from San Jose. I lived there for two years... and god it was awful.

I think I'll be going to the expo. You're going to be in attendance, Marek?

Yeah, and Jake and Remixor too. We could have a little chat at the expo, though I'm about to jump on my plane... you can leave a message to Jake, as that's where I'll be hanging out this weekend.

I would like to go to the expo but more likely than not I'll be working all week at work. Some spring break. Pff.

I would want to go, but I'm going to save money to go next year (my final year in school) instead.

Not going to this one but I might go to this year's GDC Europe in London if I'm in not in Holland.

It would be real nice to go, I myself would like to see the new generation of the UnrealEngine. It sounds, promising to say the least.

But sometimes it feels good to live in Finland, away from "real" civilization.
