Meh. I think I'll pass. it looks like they've gone in a direction I don't really care for to be honest.

System requirements for Dragon Age: Origins have been announced

http://daforums.bioware.com/viewtopi...2449&forum=135.

Pretty steep.... and you'll need at least 20GB of free HDD space to install the game...

Not for me. I'll grab the X360 version. I know what I'm missing: constantly having a cow over whether my system can even run the game, spending more money for hardware upgrades, etc.

Nice. Pretty low requirements. It's the advantage of games built first for PC, although the required HDD space is a bit too much. Anyway, i'm looking forward to the game, it's a pitty we PC gamers have to wait for the console versions to be finished, the PC version is already finished, but oh well, that's life.

After having to look at fugly human characters in Oblivion for at least 100 hours, I SERIOUSLY look forward to Dragon Age.

I trust most of you have already viewed these, but for those who still hadn't...

Narrated in-game walkthrough part 1 | part 2 | part 3 | part 4

Release date's 3 November for all platforms. Cannot wait, and I still hadn't completed Fallout 3!

I'm sick of all the previews. I wish they'd just RELEASE the damn thing already, instead of pushing it back. I'm starting to lose interest.

LOL!

I don't actually mind it being launched first week of November. Right now my plate is already beyond full. I expect to finish Batman: Arkham Asylum over the weekend, then I need to get back into Splinter Cell: DA. I also just started Wet, but I also have several other games I hadn't picked up to play in months, including Fallout 3.

Dragon Age and Left 4 Dead 2 are the two titles I'll get in November, and I'm set up for the rest of the year. I plan to put all other games aside until I'm done with the main storyline in Dragon Age, and L4D2 will be primarily for Saturdays when I play online with friends.

I would have thought Borderlands and Alpha Protocol on your radar, which come out in October...

I can seriously see myself skipping Dragon Age till next year. I haven't seen any indication of surprises from it and I can only stomach so many games that takes themselves too seriously at once.

Shame on you guys for not mentioning Brutal Legend Rocktober can't come fast enough.

My game list for the next couple of months is quite hefty: Dragon Age: Origins, Borderlands ? (waiting for reviews), Alpha Protocol (maybe), Uncharted 2, Ratchet and Clank, and of course the one and only Brutal Legend.

Don't forget Torchlight (also in October). Should be a nice tide-me-over till Diablo 3 harvests the souls of 90% of the worlds gamers. I really like the art style they went with and its nice to see a return of the pets from their FATE origins. Its getting good PAX previews even when played right along side Diablo 3!

Well I pre-ordered this (paid in full), so much for my haughty sensibilities and remaining shred of will power. Roll on Nov.3.

In this thread at Bioware forums you can learn about the new Bioware flash game, Dragon Age: Journeys to be played in your browser.

http://daforums.bioware.com/forums/v...forum=135&sp=0

Here's the link to the flash site:

http://www.dragonagejourneys.com/

You have to make an account with EA apparently...

It doesn't look worth the spam you're asking for by signing up.
I hate EA enough as it is.

*cross fingers* there hopefully be no need for an email address to download the character editor.
