Looking over the Big E3 list I don't see that many games that I'd be interested in. Fallout 3, yes, probably, Operation Flashpoint 2, most certainly, although up to this point not a single real screenshot has been published. Mirror's Edge looks, hm, interesting, and Velvet Assassin is something I'd like to play. GoW2 won't get out for the PC for at least one year, and the Enhanced Version of The Witcher isn't even on this list, so I guess the E3 is not that big of a deal for me.

I'm looking forward to Gears of War 2, Dead Space, Tomb Raider: Underworld and Resident Evil 5. That's about it though.

Dead Space looks good and i hope it does well, but because EA games are behind it i'm worried that it might be very repetitive.

Fallout 3, Mirror's Edge and MK vs DC are the only ones I'm interested in.

EDIT: oh! LBP and Heavy Rain too :P

I suppose someone had to make the predictable comment, but it has everything the original Fallout was in there just with a 3D engine.

Seeing as Oblivion was one of the best games around i'm taking that as a compliment.

But seriously, so far, I have been very impressed with Resistance 2, Gears of War 2, Mirror's Edge, and Prince of Persia. The Fallout 3 demo in the 360 press conference didn't impress me, but then, Fallout 3 is not the kind of game that you can appreciate in less than 5 minutes.

Does anyone know the name of the music used in the Prince of Persia trailer? I rather like it. It does look interesting artistically and I'm curious what they've done with the one-on-one sword-fighting, but it feels like they've gone a bit too anime and lost a lot of the weight in the movement that made Sands of Time and Assassin's Creed so appealing.

Also, with regards to the purging of darkness, I'm not sure I really want to play Okami all over again (with added acrobatics) having already spent 60+ hours on it... That said if the spiritual reference for Sands of Time was Ico and for this Okami I suppose it would be only fair to give them the benefit of the doubt: that they will create something that is uniquely it's own thing.

Verdict: cautiously curious... when you've already got too many games you want to play you can afford to be skeptical.

I'm quite interested still in Mirror's Edge. A little concerned that you can walk up to a guy shooting at point blank range and not get hurt, but otherwise that walkthrough looks pretty cool.

Guess being a FPS\RPG now and not a turn-based RPG like before doesn't matter. :P

It showed the combat in turn based mode in the demo anyway.
