Games for Windows Magazine
 

I hope someone on this board can help me with this. I'm looking for the latest issue of Games for Windows Magazine. It's the April/May issue with The Sims 3 on the cover. There is also an article on gaming laptops that I'm very eager to read. I've never subscribed to the magazine but always bought it at the newsstand and I've since found out that this is the last print issue. Have any fellow Canadians seen this magazine in the stores? I can't find it anywhere and I really want it. The magazine website is useless. I hope it's okay to start this thread on this site. :)

Well, I see the single issue on Amazon.com which probably won't help since you're in Canada (would they ship that to Canada? You may need to email them to ask).

Games for Windows Magazine is no more.

Gamegirl knows that, Collector :) The issue she's after is the last print edition.

Oh, you're kidding! Would you believe I just filled out a form from my Girl Scout niece who was selling mags as a fundraiser -- and I bought a sub to Games for Windows?

I wonder what will happen to my check....

GFW is dead? what the.... I was subscribed to them for over 8 years! oh no. what am i supposed to read on the bathroom now? i guess national geographic or something. strange that i should find about this through the adventuregamers forum.... :crazy:

After many fruitless searches around town, I ordered the issue from Amazon.com. They do ship magazines to Canada so I'm lucky about that. Thank you so much Melanie, I never would have thought of looking there for it. :D

Yay! I'm glad you were able to get it. :) I searched Amazon on a fluke, thinking they might have it (as they seem to have everything else).
