Bad Influence

I was wondering this for a funny topic.

We've all seen video games being in the papers for influencing bad behaviour. How's about we all create a fake news headline parodying this. Could even add in a first paragraph too.

E.G.

KID SUFFOCATES MONKEY IN BALL

A monkey, 3, was found trapped in plastic sphere, rolled down cliff. Mick, 12, was bought the game 'Monkey Ball' by his parents to educate him on the laws of physics. The boy, an A grade student, argued of the relativity of the piece and recreated a physical representation at his local cliff.

Your go guys.

Today, bystanders were appaled as they watched 8 year old Timmy Bransfield trip over an old lady and roll her down a hill whilst whistling the theme tune of Katamari.

This springs to mind actually.

PACMAN SUED FOR OBESITY IN CHILDREN

Pacman has come under fire as the reason for the rapid growth in obesity in the west.

The yellow figure's computer game of the same of the same name clearly justifies and rewards those whom eat any food that come into eye contact.

Lawyers within court described Packman's actions as "harrowing".

"Do computer games have no shame?" says Dorathy Perky, mother of 3. "It's sick that such an ugly, grotesque character can demonstrate such a demoralising, unhealth lifestyle".

The thing with these 'fake news' is that sometimes they can get taken (too) seriously by the mainstream media, especially since some of the 'real news' sometimes seem fake to me, too....

Anyway, I'm game:

Begin fake newsbit

KID TRIES TO MEND ROAD WITH KETTLE, FISH
AND A WHOLE BUNCH OF MONKEYS

In other news, this evening a boy age 15 tried to bridge a gap in the road by using a string, a fish, a kettle, some plaster of paris, and several monkeys while he shouted insults at innocent bystanders. The boy clearly had been inspired by how adventure games solved problems. Also, the boy thought he might die if the walked on a certain nearby cliff. He also tried to kill the monkeys with the wet fish.

Lawyers that spoke to the police after the boy had been removed told the police: Look, this is clearly an example of how bad games are for children.
Cruelty to animals are now taught in games. What's the world coming to, spoke mr. S. Licitor to the police when asked what drove the boy to do what he did.

end fake news.

re: the pacman thing:

I remember reading something about Pacman being acccused of actually turning people gay since it ate pink (?) ghosts or something like that way back in the 1980's - when pacman was first released. So the idea of Pacman getting the blame for overeating kids isn't so far away, I think...

I'll have to look up that gay thing. I heard that too XD
