Don't know if they have increased the cache for 2Ghz+ Celerons, but I've seen benchmarks in which a 2Ghz Celeron overclocked to 2,6Ghz didn't outperform a 1900+XP running at its normal clock speed. That makes me hope it could run a bit better.. I loved my old Celeron 400A, by the way. Best bang for the buck I got since that 650Mhz Duron. I've read that people played the game with a 2000+XP CPU and only 512 megs of RAM, and apparently the framerate only really dropped in the city hubs here and there. They complained about the loading times, though. I really need that game. My really low memory bandwith could be a significant bottleneck though. If only there was a demo!

Definatley check out "Gun" and "Deus Ex." Really enjoyable games! After all this talk of "Mafia", I think I might check the game out. I have always passed by it and never took note of it.

I didn't like Gun.
I hoped that it would been a great western action adventure, but in the end it felt like a half-assed gta clone.
You just rode with the horse all around the map continuously doing mission after mission after mission...

I came to think of Reservoir Dogs, the game. Not exact as mafia, but kinda same style, I loved Mafia, and enjoying Reservoir Dogs, don´t have much time to play though, so I´m progressing kinda slowly...

It's good to see that my love for Mafia is universal.

I have 'borrowed' GTA Vice City for work, and it's kind of entertaining (okay, I've been playing it a lot) but the gameplay and the characters/story don't come even close at all to drawing me in like Mafia did.

I might try Gun next week, and probably Deus Ex around then as well. Haven't heard of Reservoir Dogs.

And even though nobody has mentioned it, I want to say that Gangs of London really sucks.

I thought Gun was an enjoyable game but yeah, when I first heard about it a while back I thought it would be something of an epic masterpiece. When I played it seemed not as ambitious as they said it was going to be. Oh well, got to give props for the excellent voice acting and cinematics.
I've never played a GTA game, am I missing anything? Or once you've played one of these games, you've played them all?

If you didn't like Gun why did you recommend it in the first place?

Because it's still an enjoyable game despite a few flaws. It has a fun arcade-style to it. It's probably nothing compared to Fable.
