A weird little side project

As some of you may know, Rich Powell was one of the artists who worked at Sierra On-Line for many years...and his work now appears semi-regularly in MAD Magazine (in fact, he's got a three-page article about videogames in the current issue). I think he's also a contributor to the new MAD KIDS off-shoot.

Rich and I have always enjoyed working together. He did the illustrations for an old-style adventure edutainment game I designed a few years ago, THE ADVENTURES OF D.M. DINWIDDIE, PHYSICIAN-IN-TRAINING (http://www.dmdinwiddie.com).

Well, starting with the September issue of GENII magazine, the premier Magic magazine in the US (http://www.geniimagazine.com), Rich and I are doing one-panel comics. Being the magician in the duo, I come up with the gags (most of them are the sort that only magicians would understand), and Rich does the drawing. It's a fun little side project --doesn't pay much, but it's a new publishing venue, and it gets Rich more exposure, which he WELL deserves.
